पद्मावती फिल्म की मुश्किलें कम होने का नाम नहीं ले रहीं। अभी सेंसर बोर्ड ने फिल्म को हरी झंडी नहीं दी है और दूसरी ओर मध्य प्रदेश और पंजाब में पद्मावती को रिलीज से पहले बैन कर दिया गया है। वहीं दूसरी ओर फिल्म के खिलाफ बयानबाजी करने वाले भी कम नहीं हो रहे हैं। हाल ही में हरियाणा बीजेपी के मीडिया संयोजक सूरज पाल अमू ने बयान दिया, ‘हम दीपिका का सिर कलम करने वालों को इनाम देंगे, वह भी 10 करोड़ रुपए और उनके परिवार का भी ध्यान रखेंगे।’ अमू ने यह भी कहा कि ‘वह मेरठ के उस युवा को बधाई देना चाहते हैं, जिसने दीपिका पादुकोण और भंसाली का सिर काटने वाले को 5 करोड़ रुपए इनाम की पेशकश की थी।’ सूरज ने फिल्म में अलाउद्दीन खिलजी का किरदार निभा रहे अभिनेता रणवीर सिंह को भी धमकी देते हुए कहा, ‘अगर तूने अपने शब्द वापस नहीं लिए तो तेरी टांगों को तोड़कर तेरे हाथ में दे दूंगा।’
